What to see:

  • The Stone Turtle. Such epic pieces of stonework, which symbolize longevity, were essential elements of larger monuments, which were common in the 7th – 8th centuries during the Jurgjeng epoch. Now the Turtle is placed in the Central Park of Ussuriysk.
  • The Saint Intercessions Church, built in 1914. It is the only religious building in the Primorsky region which has been kept without any reconstruction since 1917 and used for its original purposes.
  • Monument to the Red Guards and partisans, who died in the battles at Ussuriysk in June 1018.
  • Monument to Lenin on the Railway Station Square.
  • The city’s oldest hotel, constructed in 1880, and the city’s oldest movie-theatre Grand-Illusion, guilt in 1908.
